About Our Programs
We offer various track and field programs designed for different age groups and
commitment levels. Our goal is to help young athletes develop their skills, whether they
are just starting out or are seasoned competitors.
Cross Country (September – October)
This program runs for about two months and is a great way to start the fall season.
Elementary School: Practices are held at Harold Tatler Park on Tuesdays and
Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM, starting September 4th.
High School: Practices have already started and are currently held on Mondays,
Wednesdays, and Fridays for the rest of August.
Junior Development Programs
These programs are for our youngest athletes. Practices are held one day a week from
6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. This time gives us exclusive use of the track, making it a safer
environment for our younger runners. Athletes in these groups will get to try a variety of
events, including sprints, hurdles, relays, long jump, high jump, and shot put.
Junior Development Fall: October 20 – December 3
Junior Development Winter: Mid-January – Mid-March (The exact dates
depend on cancellations due to competitions at the Field House.)
Junior Development Spring: May 4 – June 17
Full-Year Programs
These programs are for athletes who want to train year-round. All full-year programs
require 15 hours of volunteer work from parents.
High School (October – July) 5:00pm – 6:45pm
This program is for all high school students and includes some second-year U16
athletes. We have combined our old U20 and U18 programs to make scheduling easier
for high school students. Athletes in this program will begin to specialize in specific
events. Practices are held 3-5 times a week.
Elementary School (November – June) 6:30pm – 7:45pm
This program, formerly known as our U14 program, is for students in Grades 6-8. It
includes most U14 athletes and some first-year U16 athletes. Athletes will try various
track and field events to find what they enjoy most. Practices are held twice a week.
Seasonal Programs
We also offer shorter, seasonal programs for high school and elementary school
students. All these programs require 15 hours of volunteer work from parents.
