Cross Country Programs
Elementary Cross Country (September – October)
Start Date: Tuesday, September 1, 2026
Practice Days/ Time: Tuesday & Thursday 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM
Meeting Point: We will meet on Jarvis Drive, in the area between Harold Tatler Park North and Harold Tatler Park South.
What to Bring: Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather and brings a full water bottle to every practice.
High School Cross Country (August. 5th 2026 – October)
Practice Schedule: For the month of August except for Aug 5th (first day of training), the athletes meet at Griffith’s Stadium on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:45 to 6:30 PM. From there, the group will run to a variety of different locations (city parks or riverbank) to do workouts (for purposes of learning how to run different terrain) and will always end up at Griffith’s Stadium to cooldown at approximately between 6:15 and 6:20 PM.
For the month of September, the athletes will meet on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays to accommodate for the high school meet schedule. On Mondays the athletes meet at Griffith’s Stadium, on Thursdays they meet at Harold Tatler North Park, and on Saturdays the location will be decided based on the nature of the workout and the weather conditions.
Locations and Times: Specific locations and times vary. Please refer to the
team schedule from personal coach for detailed information.
What to bring: The athletes should bring a full water bottle and a quick snack for after they are finished the main part of the workout. As the weather begins to cool down in Sept and in the later part of the day, the athletes should bring layers of light clothing that can be removed or worn as needed. Please leave valuables at home.

Registration note: Both elementary and high school programs are listed under cross country on the registration form. However, they will practice at the different times noted above.
